I subscribed to china Unicom (联通)’s GPRS service, and it took me 1 month to figure out how to set it.
I went to 2 Centers in shanghai, and called 5 times. but incredibly it was still not working.
Finally it came out they were giving me the configuarations for WAP service, not GPRS. Veeerrry smart!
anyway, find your NETWORK configuration in your mobile, then:
Connection: GPRS
USERNAME: uninet (not uniwap as they would tell yo!)
APN: uninet
